World record from a solar battery invented by a Chinese companyA report released by Germany’s Hamein Solar Energy Research Institute (ISFH) says that a silicon-based solar panel invented by the Chinese company Longi has broken the world record, reaching an efficiency of 26.81 percent. The previous record was 26 percent, developed by a Japanese company , belonged to a solar panel with an efficiency of 7.
