Scandalous event from the director of the zoo!

A zookeeper in Mexico slaughtered 4 goats known as “Pigmes” at his party and offered them to his guests.

The incident took place at Zoochilpan Zoo in the Mexican state of Guerrero. “These four animals were slaughtered and cooked at the zoo and served for dinner at the end of the year party,” said Fernando Ruiz Gutiérrez, head of SEMAREN’s wildlife department, in a Dec. 31 press release. His remark caused outrage.

It was stated that José Rubén Nava, who was accused of many matters such as selling and selling some animals, including cooking and eating pygmy goats, and the death of a deer, was fired on January 12 after an incident that alarmed animal lovers.

Authorities said the investigation is ongoing.
