NATO conducted “crisis management exercises”BRUSSELS (AA) – A “crisis management exercise” is being conducted to test NATO’s consultation and decision-making processes.“NATO Crisis Management Exercise 2023” will continue until March 15 to test the consultation and decision-making processes at the strategic political and military level within the alliance. Sweden and Finland, as well as allied countries, are participating. The exercise will involve civilian and military personnel at NATO Headquarters, Strategic Commands and Capital Cities. The exercise, which will not include military dispatches, will include a comprehensive response to a complex military and civilian scenario prepared in a hybrid environment. Earlier, Finland and Sweden participated in the exercises. However, it was reported that this year, for the first time, the two countries will join as “countries invited to join the alliance” with their new status.
