Mobile traffic increased during the Spring FestivalAccording to information provided by the Ministry of Industry and Informatics of China, 5G traffic accounted for more than 40 percent of mobile data traffic, which continued to rise during the 2023 Spring Festival.According to the data, mobile internet user data traffic during the 7-day Spring Festival 2023 reached 4.41 million TB, up 6.3 percent compared to the same period in 2022. With app support, 5G mobile internet users’ data traffic increased significantly during the Spring Festival, up 103 percent compared to the same period in 2022. The share of 5G data traffic accounted for more than 40 percent of mobile internet users’ data traffic.
