In Belgium, the federal and regional governments have agreed to extend the tobacco ban to some outdoor areas.

Accordingly, from the beginning of 2025, smoking and smoking of similar products in outdoor areas such as amusement parks, zoos and playgrounds will be prohibited. In addition, smoking will be banned at the entrances to buildings such as hospitals and schools.

Special enclosed sections reserved for smokers in enclosed spaces such as restaurants and cafes will be removed.

The sale of tobacco products will also be limited. The sale of cigarettes from vending machines will be completely stopped. In addition, the sale of cigarettes will be prohibited in establishments such as cafes, restaurants, bars, and organizations such as festivals.

In addition, from 2028, the sale of tobacco products in stores with an area of ​​​​more than 400 square meters where food is sold will be discontinued.
