An arrogant statement from a Greek admiral! – Kent News Agency

Former Greek Chief of Staff, Admiral Evangelos Apostolakis, said “the time has come to expand” Greek territorial waters.
After the earthquake in Kahramanmaras, which killed thousands of citizens, a large number of people extended a helping hand to Turkey. Although Greece was one of these countries, some of the country’s former rulers took advantage of the earthquake and made arrogant claims that Greek lands should be expanded.
Former Chief of the General Staff of Greece Admiral Evangelos Apostolakis took part in the program on the Greek channel Open TV.
In a program discussing how the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) were affected by the earthquakes, Apostolakis said he expected a change of government in Turkey’s elections.
In addition, Apostolakis said that “Greek territorial waters should rise to 12 nautical miles” during the earthquake and that it is “timely” for the move.
